Doctoral Research: My project is a Collaborative Doctoral Partnership with Imperial War Museums. It seeks to understand the impact of the First World War on sensory experience, and the methods by which this experience has been represented across literature, visual art, and other objects of cultural production. It will draw upon text, artworks and objects, including those held by the IWM, to develop an understanding of the cultural-sensory imaginary during, and in the aftermath of, the War.
