Will Badger

Will Badger holds an MFA in Fiction from NC State University and an MSt in English Literature from Pembroke College, Oxford. He is currently pursuing a DPhil at Pembroke as Browning Senior Scholar in English, exploring representations of witchcraft in the plays of Shakespeare and other early modern dramatists.

He co-founded (with Gabriel Schenk) the annual JRR Tolkien Lecture on Fantasy Literature at the University of Oxford and worked with the Tolkien Estate to establish a permanent memorial to Tolkien at Pembroke College, Oxford, where JRRT wrote The Hobbit and much of The Lord of the Rings. 

Recently he has been involved with The Oxford Techno-Creativity Research Network (OxTRN), exploring the human-artefact interface and its impact on the telling of tales.
